At the risk of creating the proverbial fruit salad, let's start by saying we've been able to cherry-pick our limes. That is to say that Twisted Lime Media, while a new company on paper, has been borne from the select talents of experienced strategic, creative and technical operatives.
We've come together from different backgrounds, companies and experiences — drawn together by a shared desire to move beyond the status quo to generate engaging, compelling products that meet our clients' needs while exceeding their expectations.
Nate King
Nate is a web, interactive and video producer with more than 15 years experience specializing in custom development solutions for marketing and communications projects world-wide. He worked on the “World Wide Web” before most people knew it existed and continues to pioneer its future.
A senior partner at Twisted Lime Media, Nate acts as the bridge between creative ideas and the technical language for them. He brings a deep understanding of the technical aspects of web development and video production, and works to envision solutions that bring ideas to life.
As Vice-President, Interactive for the past several years at a successful international marketing company based in Vancouver, Nate worked on interactive marketing solutions for brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Hard Rock and on a successful roll out of two Trump-related real estate projects resulting in a single-day sales total of nearly a billion dollars.
Nate and Travis were principals in a company called Codewise Systems Inc. that pioneered mobile technology for the web. This Codewise Presentation Management product — which allows web sites and applications to be viewed intact on all low-level, web-enabled devices such as Blackberrys and mobile phones — is now a staple of the Twisted Lime Media menu of offerings.
Travis Bolander
Travis likes and speaks in codes of all kinds. He's a web developer, telecommunications technologist, service technician and technical writer with almost two decades of experience. He specializes in structuring information in ways that grab people and help them find even the most complex material simple.
When Twisted Lime Media approaches a new project, Travis, a senior partner, ensures that every detail from planning to execution works the way it's supposed to. He builds sites that work as beautifully as they look, and that are as broadly usable as possible. When he's done his job, everything is transparent, everything works.
A constant pioneer of new ways to organize and use information, the tools and technologies he built at Codewise have lead to a new way of working with multi-platform content on the web.
Robb Gibbs
An avowed generalist, Robb enjoys taking part in all stages of a project, from strategic development through content generation to the final build of web, interactive and video projects. His strength is in creating solutions when challenges arise, working them through to deliver the best results for the client.
A senior partner at Twisted Lime Media Inc, Robb has more than 20 years of communications experience in the public and private sectors in British Columbia and Dubai. In the early- to mid-90s, he was a senior communications counsel for the British Columbia government, leading the development of high-level projects for the premier and cabinet. He followed that up with a complete change of pace, spending three years in Dubai teaching advertising, public relations and TV and radio production to college-level Emirati women, and taking on private sectors projects at the same time. Since returning to British Columbia in 1998, he has run a successful partnership business, Zentraba Communications, taking on private and public sector clients and projects.
A fan of lifelong learning, Robb recently earned his Masters in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Leeds.
Naomi King
Naomi's background as a graphic designer and video editor with a decade and a half of experience translates well into her Account Services role.
A very adept technical designer, production artist and color specialist, Naomi ensures every detail in a project is executed right for the client. And she has input on every stage of its life: from initial idea through design and final production and delivery.
A senior partner at Twisted Lime Media, Naomi ensures the lines of communication are open and the attention to detail is seen and heard.
During her career, she has worked on projects for the Trump Organization, Honda, and Ritz-Carlton, among others.
Robert Beaupré
Robert (pronounced “ro · bear”) is a software developer that eats, breathes, and sleeps computer technology. He is constantly reading about, experimenting with, and using new technologies.
In his eight years of experience in the industry, Robert has completed commercial projects using a wide variety of desktop and web applications with the following technologies among others: Ruby, Java, Delphi, Asp, ASP.NET, MySQL, Oracle, and Interbase.
Robert has spent the majority of his software development career self-employed and has experience with projects from design to completion and support. He is talented at taking the ideas of non-technical people and turning them into software reality. Robert thrives on creating simple, intuitive, consistent, and powerful application interfaces that enable people to be more productive.
